International Museum Day Offers Free Entry to Museums

International Museum Day is organised by the International Council of Museums and intends to make culture accessible to all on a day that prioritises unity, education and accessibility for all.

This year’s theme is “Museums Uniting a Divided World”, where museums can act as bridges between people in a moment of political adversity. All share a love for human expression in culture; this can open dialogue and understanding, so further communication in a divided world.

Museums Included…

📍 Picasso Museum: Displays collection of Picasso’s work that spans over the course of his life.

📍 Centre Pompidou: A modern art centre, opened by Paris’s own Pompidou Museum.

📍  Carmen Thyssen: Home to 19th Century and Andalusian art and is displaying a temporary modernist exhibit named Archipiélago.
