Who are Crystal Fighters? The band is coming to Malaga to perform from the 16th until the 18th of May. Crystal Fighters are a London-based trend-setting musical band. In 2010, they dropped “I love London” and “Xtatic Truth,” that immediately skyrocketed into fame. However, labelling their music genre was something that turned out to be quite challenging.
Since they have a mix of genres in their music, they questioned whether it fits o-fi tropical electro, electro-folk, or folktronic? All three genres were labelled at the end, which caught many eyes due to the unique genre mix. Additionally, the fact that they deliver their songs with the utmost passion and euphoria makes them simply iconic.

During the same year, they managed to release their first album, “Star of Love.” The UK listeners welcomed this band by making them rank number 10 on the dance charts and 16 on the indie charts. In 2013, they went to Basque country and conceived their second album, “Cave Rave,” there. Basque country is integral to the sounds they used for their debut so they wanted to make an album dedicated to their love for the region. Recorded in LA and produced by Justin Meldal Johnsen, this album focuses on electronic pop and festival vibes.
In May 2018, they released the song “Another Level” that was featured as the soundtrack of the videogame FIFA19. There latest album released in November 2023 with a diverse range of ideas from rave to tropical pop. Sebastian Pringle, the lead singer of the band shared that they wanted to go back to the roots of who they are. The album quotes more light more positivity and more clarity with a focus dancing at their concerts.
