Flamenco originates in the Andalusian region of Spain and is a vital part of Málaga’s cultural history. It is an iconic blend of the various cultures that have coloured the city’s streets. For example, Romani people used it to express their struggles, displaying great tales of love and resilience.
Singer, Jose de Chaparro will be performing a free flamenco concert on the evening of the 25th. You cannot miss this opportunity to witness these roots of Andalusian culture, for free!

Language Exchange
Every Tuesday, Mundo Lingo Málaga sets up a chill night of cultural and language exchange between people of any nationality. You don’t have to speak well; you just have to try!
You’ll arrive and someone will give you flags to place on your chest, ordered from most to least fluent. Then you can begin to test out your language skills.
Though it is a great opportunity to improve your languages, primarily it’s a great place to make new friends. You’ll meet curious and like-minded individuals who are all eager to encounter a diverse range of people and learn something new.

Beach Volleyball
Seize the day and make use of Malaga’s gloriously sunny skies on the beach. Everyday, groups of people from hostels meet on the Malagueta to play volleyball, make new friends and partake in a fun and competitive game.
As a step up from yesterday’s relaxing yoga you can get some competitive cardio into your weekly routine.

The Drama Cinema Release
The most anticipated cinematic release of the season is finally out in Spain! The Drama is an dramatic romance starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. The film is based round a sudden confession which sends a wedding into chaos and is the perfect entertaining story to bring back the complete joy of going to the movies.
Already out everywhere in Europe and the US, it is finally showing in Malaga on Friday the 29th and you seriously cannot miss it!

Masko Party Dog Fest
If you’re a dog person Masko Party is the place for you, where man, and man’s best friend will all join to drink, play, eat, and chat together. XIV International Festival of Chamber Music
This will be the final day of Malaga’s 14th edition of the International Festival of Chamber Music. This year’s theme is Metropolis, where each day represents music from different iconic cities across the world.
Sunday 31st is the final day and represents Spain’s capital, Madrid. It includes performances from a genre known as Zarzuela, which originated in Madrid and blends music with singing, spoken dialogue and dancing.
