Cerveza Victoria opens its brewery: how does the visit work? Last dates of 2024

The Cerveza Victoria brewery opens its doors for a full beer experience, but there are only a few dates available until the end of 2024.

Málaga, known for its beautiful seaside, vibrant nightlife, and sunny weather, offers much more than just enjoyable days at the beach or exploring the art in the city. Today, we are going to reveal a slightly different activity, perfect for tourists and locals: a visit to the Victoria Beer Factory.

A little bit of History

The new factory, inaugurated in 2017, is located in the heart of Málaga, near the harbor. It is a must-visit for lovers of beer and Spanish culture.

The Franquelo family launched the first factory in the Perchel neighborhood on September 8, 1928. This date coincides with the feats of the Virgin of Victory (la Virgen de la Victoria), the patron saint of the city. It was exactly from her that the beer takes its name.

The Cerveza Victoria Tour: How is it divided

If you are intrigued, you can learn more about this beer during the 90-minute tours that are offered by them.
The visits begin with an introduction to the history of the brewery. Visitors are greeted by guides who share fascinating anecdotes about the founding and evolution of the Victoria brewery over the years.

The tour then continues with an explanation of the production, packaging process and a workshop on how to properly pour a beer.

Of course, at the end of the visit, a tasting session is offered. During this last experience, 5 varieties of the Victoria beer can be tasted and they are accompanied by typical Málaga appetizers, better known as tapas.

Known for its delicate and balanced flavor, it is a popular choice among residents and perfect to be enjoyed on any occasion.

Last dates and Prices

The tours are available both in Castellano and English. While there are still plenty of visits in Castellano, if you are interested in the English-speaking tours, there are only 2 remaining dates for this year: October 23rd and November 27th.

Tickets can be bought directly on their website cervezavictoria.es, and the price is 8.50€ per person. There are no discounts for children, as access to the guided tour to their facilities is not permitted with babies or kids under the age of 18.

For more information about the tours or their beer, you can contact them at their email,  vfabrica@cervezasvictoria.es.
